Born and raised in Mid-Michigan, Casey embarked on a journey that led him to the fascinating world of law. After earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising from Michigan State University, he delved into the dynamic fields of advertising, marketing, and business consultation.

Education and Credentials

  • Thomas M. Cooley Law School (now Western Michigan University Cooley Law School) welcomed him with open arms, and in 2013, he graduated Cum Laude with a concentration in Intellectual Property. During law school, he had the privilege of working on consumer protection projects alongside the Attorney General of Michigan and interning at an East Lansing-based law firm.

  • In 2014, he proudly joined the State Bar of Michigan, gaining the license to practice in the state. My legal journey extended to the Michigan Federal Court of the Western District, and the United States Tax Court.

Practice Areas

As a solo practitioner in Michigan, he has navigated a diverse legal landscape, including:

  • Wills and Trusts: Helping clients plan for the future and protect their legacies.

  • Business Organization: Assisting entrepreneurs in forming and structuring their ventures.

  • Compliance: Ensuring businesses adhere to legal requirements.

  • Contracts: Crafting solid agreements that stand the test of time.

  • Real Estate: Guiding clients through property transactions and ensuring their rights are protected.

  • Copyright: Unraveling the complexities of intellectual property and safeguarding creative works.

  • Tax Issues: Navigating the intricate world of taxation for individuals and businesses.

Certifications and Beyond

He holds a Certificate of Completion in probate and estate planning from the Institute of Continuing Legal Education and the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan. Additionally, he is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor, committed to providing holistic legal solutions. Casey is also a member of two national organizations focused on business and estate planning.

Connecting with Clients

Beyond the legal jargon, Casey passionate about connecting with clients. Whether it’s over a cup of coffee, a round of golf, or a virtual consultation, he believes in understanding their unique needs and tailoring legal strategies to fit their goals.

Collaborations

Moore and Kerbawy
Attorneys and Counselors at Law

We are a full-service, estate planning law firm based in Grand Rapids and Lansing, Michigan.

We believe estate planning is a process designed to improve the quality of life for your loved ones. Estate planning empowers you to control how your assets are used in the event of an illness as well as how your assets are to be passed onto future generations.

Our firm emphasizes the need for expanded client counseling and education on how your estate plan works and on what actions you need to take care of during your lifetime to assure that your estate plan performs in the manner you expect. The administration of your plan is as essential as the quality of the legal documents themselves.

This commitment to full service requires a higher level of client support than provided by most legal firms. Our estate plans are designed to succeed beyond what is common in today’s marketplace.
